Job Description:

You will be required to manage and oversee all core human resources functions of the organisation, which may at times extend beyond the duties listed below.

Managing day-to-day HR operations such as payroll coordination, statutory compliance, employee relations, recruitment support, benefits administration, performance management, and ISO compliance requirements while ensuring alignment with company policies and Philippine labor regulations.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Structure and organise the HR department to ensure operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop and implement employee retention strategies to reduce attrition and improve engagement.
  • Design and implement engagement initiatives, stay interviews, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing in coordination with finance or payroll system providers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely statutory remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
  • Administer employee benefits including HMO enrollment, leaves, and government-mandated benefits.
  • Maintain and update employee handbook, HR policies, and employment contracts.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes including final pay computation.
  • Handle employee relations concerns, disciplinary actions, and documentation.
  • Implement and monitor performance appraisal processes.
  • Maintain HRIS and employee records ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with ISMS standards.
  • Generate HR reports including headcount, attrition, leave balances, and payroll summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine Labor Code, DOLE regulations, and applicable ISO standards.
  • Support ISO compliance initiatives including participation in audits, documentation control, and corrective action processes.
  • Oversee vendor management documentation relevant to HR, ensuring accreditation, contracts, and compliance requirements are maintained.
  • Ensure adherence to Information Security Management System (ISMS) standards in HR operations, including secure handling of employee data and access controls.
  • Provide guidance to the management team on HR-related matters.
  • Provide ad-hoc recruitment support including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation as required by business needs.

You will be responsible for prioritising daily HR operations while ensuring compliance, audit readiness, data security, operational accuracy, and a positive employee experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: 

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience with exposure to payroll, statutory compliance, and employee relations.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Code and DOLE regulations.
  • Experience supporting ISO compliance or working within regulated environments is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with ISMS standards and data privacy compliance principles is an advantage.
  • Experience in payroll coordination and government remittance processes is essential.
  • Experience building or restructuring HR teams is highly regarded.
  • Experience in BPO or service-based environment is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience using Sprout HRIS is highly preferred, or similar HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., GreatDay HR, PayrollHero, Darwinbox, or equivalent).
  • Strong employee relations and conflict resolution skills.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting leadership and operations.
